How to enter a joint life insurance policy
For all life insurance policies in Snap, you'll notice the Insured person is set to the Client or the Spouse depending on the page you've selected in the top-left corner. For joint policies, you'll want to choose the Insured person based on your projections depending on the type of joint policy (e.g., first-to-die, last-to-die) and whether the spouses pass away in the same year or different years.
In the projections, the Insured person will pay for the life insurance premiums, and the life insurance details such as the Death Benefit and CSV will be displayed on their Planning page.
You can edit the end date of the projections for either spouse on the Scenario Setup -> General page. On the Combined Planning page, you can see the age of each spouse by the end of that year. If you see a dash, their projections have ended.
