Clearing Overrides

An overridden value on the Planning page is highlighted with a yellow background. In the example below, contribution overrides are made to the RRSP and TFSA.

Overridden values can be cleared from the Individual Planning pages (not Combined). On the Combined Planning page, the overrides are visible, but not editable.

1

Remove an individual override

Click the "x" on the right side of the cell of the overridden value.  Then select Run Scenario in the top-right corner of the Planning page.

This will remove the override in this one year and the cell will no longer be highlighted yellow.

2

Remove multiple overrides simultaneously

1. Click the overridden value to access the popup window.

2. Select the checkbox Clear override. (Note that when you select Clear override, the dollar amount entered in the text box is irrelevant).

3. Select the checkbox Copy down to age and enter the age until you wish to clear the overrides.

4. Select the large blue checkmark.

5. Select Run Scenario in the top-right corner of the Planning page.
