Quick Tips for Reports and SnapShots
This article is a quick reference guide to answer the top questions we receive about using SnapShots in Client Reports. Click the image to see an enlargement. Short video tips are coming soon and detailed training and guidance are in the Related Articles listed below.
Accessing the Client Report
How to access Client Reports
- From the Client List using the third icon (the report icon)
- From within a scenario by navigating to the Client Report tab in the scenario menu.

Using the report menu
- Use the Report Builder for settings and to select and re-order report pages
- Use the Report Editor to add comments to your Report Pages and SnapShots
- Use the Report Preview to present your report to clients online or preview the PDF version

Using Report Builder (Including and Reordering pages and SnapShots, Filter view, Defaults)
Included Pages
- Drag and drop items from the Gallery to include them in your Report
- Drag and drop items to re-order them
- Remove items by dragging them away from Included pages or clicking them and pressing Delete
|

How to quickly add all SnapShots cards
- Use Keystrokes - AS to add all SnapShot cards
- Or choose Defaults -> Reset current page to original settings to add all pages to the Report including SnapShots

Using the SnapShots Filter
- Select SnapShots Only to create a Report with only SnapShots cards
- Select No Filter to use selected Report pages and SnapShots cards
|

How to select individual SnapShots cards
- Under the Gallery, select SnapsShots to limit choices to SnapShots cards only
- Make sure to drag over the SnapShots folder to Included Pages first
- Then select individual SnapShots cards from the Gallery and drag under Included Pages -> SnapShots
- Reorder if desired

Report Builder Defaults: Original Settings
- Reset current page to original settings (will add all pages and SnapShots cards to Included Pages)
- Create your own default settings

Editing SnapShots cards (Using Variables, Completing the Goal Status card)

- Note that some cards will be empty or require inputs
- For example, in the Recommendations Summary card, enter your own text and/or use Template Variables

Adding Custom Pages and changing Print Settings
Report Builder: Custom Pages
- Add a new blank page or SnapShots card to your report to fill with your own information
|

Report Builder: Print Settings
- Landscape orientation allows SnapShots to be displayed side by side rather than one after the other as in Portrait orientation
- Margins set to narrow allow more information to fit on one page
