The AI Import Assistant will extract relevant information from your client files (e.g., pdf, doc, csv, xlsx, txt) and notes and use it to complete the Scenario Setup pages of a new client scenario. You can then review a summary from the tool to proceed with any next steps (e.g., entering Contributions on the Planning Pages).
You can create a new client file using the AI Import Assistant by clicking the dropdown arrow beside New Client at the top of the Clients page.

You can't use the AI Import Assistant to update an existing scenario or to add a new scenario for an existing client. You'll need to start a New Client entry to take advantage of the tool.
For best results, we recommend using Snap's client questionnaire to gather relevant information from your clients.
Once the scenario has been created, the feature provides a summary of what was completed and considerations to keep in mind. You can access the summary from the Scenario Notes available at the top of the software by clicking on the page icon.

You'll also want to Rename the scenario from the default of "Created by AI Import Assistant" to whatever your plan includes (e.g., Scenario 1 - Retirement at 65 with $80K target spending).

Using Credits to Upload Files for AI Import Assist
To upload files using the AI Import Assist feature, credits are required.

Every user gets 10 free credits each month on their subscription billing date (both monthly and annual subscribers), but unused credits don’t roll over. Additional credits can be purchased at any time on your Billing page or on the AI Import Assistant page when your credits have run out.
